This is a draft for legal review under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules 2025.
What we collect
Your name, email, optional phone number, standard and medium; for school accounts, your school and a parent's email with the time they gave consent; what you read and bookmark so the app can resume where you stopped; and payment records from Razorpay (we never see card or UPI details).
Parental consent
Everyone under 18 is a child under the DPDP Act. Before a student joins a school on GyanHeroes, a parent approves by entering a code sent to their email.
What we don't do
No behavioural tracking, no targeted or personalised advertising, no selling of data.
Your rights
You or your parent can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to gyanheroes@gmail.com.
